In the last years of his life, Michelangelo scribbled “Ancora Imparo" (I am still learning) in the margin of one of his sketches.

Fascinated by life, I am forever learning.

Traveling is my passion. Being a Pisces (yes, I believe in horoscopes and zodiac signs) I can spend hours at a time daydreaming of far off places and anything not of my world.

My past adventures have led me to the fabled souks of Morocco, the historic sites of Germany, France and the Czech Republic and Austria's best ice cream cafes. I have pub hopped in Ireland and England, wine tasted in Italy, ate tapas in Spain and danced merengue in Venezuela. When my curiosity peaked, I lived and studied for a year in Coimbra, Portugal.

Destined to be one with the ocean, my feet have felt the warm sand and the crashing waves along the beaches of Mexico, Cuba, Bahamas and the Dominican Republic

I believe that “Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it” (Elizabeth Gilbert).

I long to tell the stories of those unheard, places less traveled, a certain style forgotten, and the people who make up the bright cultures and interesting places we like to explore.

I am interested in photography, international films and languages.

My guilty pleasures are reading fashion magazines like Vogue, W, Vanity Fair, InStyle and NYLON, soy green tea lattes from Starbucks and cheese.

When I’m not too busy reading and writing, I can be found in a yoga studio, at the gym, playing hockey or on the soccer pitch.

I live for warm summer nights, the year's first snowfall, mindless walks around Toronto and time spent laughing with my sister.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Journalism at Ryerson University.
