Career should be passionate about story-telling, dedicated to uncovering the unknown, and willing to travel. Handsomely paid an asset, but not required.

In addition to long walks on the beach, I enjoy the thrill of chasing the story under the watchful eye of The Deadline. When I don't have my head in a book, I can often be found aimlessly wandering the streets of Toronto, hoping to find an undiscovered gem in the city.

My guilty pleasures include stacks of Dilbert comic books, colourful socks, and lip-synching to Mariah Carey in front of the mirror.

I don't know the exact moment I decided that Journalism was the career for me, but I know that once it became my goal, I have never stopped working toward it.

Career must be willing to challenge my privately held stereotypes. It must be able to embark on a journey to tell the stories of the world and to take me places I could never have imagined. Most of all, the career must be self-lessly devoted to giving a voice to those who have no say.
